Arrival

Getting in is easy.

Have a read when you're close by. If anything's unclear when you arrive, just message us through Airbnb — and if you can't find us in person, Kristina's cell is 672-200-3137. We're usually nearby and happy to help.

Park right out frontThere's free street parking on Larson Road, and there's almost always plenty available right outside the house. Just follow the posted signs and keep driveways clear.

Find your private entranceHead down the side path to the suite's own entrance on the lower floor — the whole bottom level is yours. (We live on the two floors upstairs.)

Let yourself in with the codeYour suite has a touchpad lock with a code created just for your stay. Enter the four-digit code and the door opens automatically; to lock up, press the lock symbol in the lower-right corner. We'll send your code in the Airbnb thread the week before you arrive.

Hop on the Wi-FiThe network and password — with a QR code for one-tap access — are waiting on the side of the fridge.

We live upstairs with our two little ones, so we keep evenings gentle — and we promise to do the same for you.

Ours is a smoke- and vape-free home, inside and out (decks and yard included). Thank you for keeping it fresh for the next guests.

Pets

Not this time

We're not able to host pets this time around — thank you so much for understanding.

The suite is perfect for a quiet family stay; we kindly ask no parties or events.

Everything you need, easy to find.

Our brand-new suite is set up for an easy, family-friendly stay — a full kitchen, in-suite laundry, fast Wi-Fi, and two restful bedrooms.

Cook in comfortably

The full kitchen is stocked with the basics:

Aluminum foil, zip bags and storage containers
Olive oil, salt, pepper, sugar, curry powder, garlic powder and a Brazilian-style BBQ powder
Ketchup and mustard in the fridge

Both bedrooms have blackout roll-up blinds, so bedtimes and naps are easy — day or night.

Smart TV

A Smart TV is ready in the living room — just sign in to your own streaming accounts and make yourself at home.

Laundry

Washer & dryer

An in-suite washer and dryer, with detergent and softener provided — handy after beach or trail days.

Wi-Fi

Fast and easy

High-speed Wi-Fi (100 Mbps). The network, password and a QR code are on the side of the fridge.

A full bathroom with fresh towels and the everyday essentials.

Garbage & recycling

Where the bins live.

If things fill up during your stay, here's the simple version.

Tucked under the stairs — and please, not outside the door.

You'll find the bins under the stairs to the suite: one for garbage and a blue one for recycling. Just keep the lids on, and please don't leave bags outside the door — we have two crows living in the trees who love to come and nibble right through them!

Stocking the kitchen.

The question we're asked most! The short version: everything below is a three-to-five-minute drive, and Choices is an easy, flat walk. Here's how we'd choose between them.

The full shop

Safeway

Up at the Westview shops, four minutes by car — everyday groceries and household essentials.

The walkable one

Choices

Fourteen minutes on foot, flat the whole way — organic groceries, prepared meals and a deli.

Also on Marine Drive — a large selection of groceries and household items.

Right beside Safeway — beautiful fresh produce, best visited in the daytime.

So… is it walkable?

For top-ups, yes — Choices is a flat 14 minutes on foot, down on Marine Drive, easy even with a stroller. For a big shop we'd take the car: everything is just a few minutes away, and you'll be glad of it on the way home with full bags.

The leafy lane and park trails directly behind the house — Park trails run right behind the house — lovely for a morning walk.
